FCA Mosport Track Day May 21, 2009
ReplyDeleteThe track day is at Mosport, on Thursday May 21, 2009. Details can be seen at www.myferrariclub.com. I created the website to keep everyone updated about the event. It's easy to find, and the information is at your fingertips. It is a Ferrari and Maserati day only. There will be no other marques invited to participate.
The format of the day is completely different. Please check out the website. Feel free to comment, as I am always interested in hearing what everyone has to say. It is our intention to create an event oriented day, with many Ferrari oriented activities. We would also like to attract more first timers, with our new "Via" group. The equipment requirements have been trimmed. We have also introduced a "Piloti" group for advanced drivers who wish to lap, rather than have an instructor. The Piloti group will also see more track time. There will be an auto detailing workshop, and an informal mini-concourse. This will be particularly interesting to members interested in participating in the up and coming FCA concourse. The idea is to present an interesting new twist to our track days. Please keep checking the www.myferrariclub.com for updates. There will be many additions in the coming weeks. Some amazing extras may become available providing our day doesn't interfere with the new dealership grand opening.
We have full dealership backing for technical support courtesy of Ferrari Ontario. We are also assembling a premium group of businesses to present products and services to our membership. We will be offering a membership exemption to non-member Ferrari and Maserati owners who wish to particpate, as part of a membership drive. Come out and experience an FCA track day!
Please REGISTER EARLY. We can't deliver all the great features without your registration. Early registration ensures that we know what we can spend on frills, and ensures we will have enough resources to support everyone who comes. I will be ordering special t-shirts for people who register early. Good registration will set the tone for next season's events. Please support us as soon as you can.
